If you decided to choose a good laptop for home from the reviews and ratings and are not going to take it anywhere out of the house (especially if you are going to play modern 3D-games), then I would recommend to think carefully – and maybe still buy a normal personal computer instead of a laptop? And here is why:

And if in simple tasks: visiting the Internet, working with text documents and spreadsheets, watching movies – the difference will not be much noticeable, then in heavy tasks such as 3D-games with beautiful graphics, video and photo processing, work in programs for 3D-modeling, etc. – The difference in performance will be noticeable!
